The show opened with Teddy Long informing the WWE Universe that Kane found his brother The Undertaker in a vegetative state. Long said there would be an investigation to find out who is responsible.

Kane In-ring Promo:

Druids carried in an empty casket. The ring was decorated like it was a funeral. Kane spoke about The Undertaker as if he was gone forever. Kane vowed there would be vengeance for those responsible.

Kane did a stellar job on this promo. Looks like The Undertaker’s injury has given Kane a great storyline leading up to the Fatal Four Way pay-per-view.

(World Champion) Jack Swagger vs. MVP

Jack Swagger made his way to the ring wearing an Oklahoma Sooners jersey for added heat with a Texas crowd.

MVP definitely has the crowd popping as the match started with an “MVP” chant. Swagger controlled the beginning of the match using some Greco-roman wrestling.

McIntyre held a modified surfboard until Kingston kicked his way out of it.

Kingston mounted a comeback as he landed some strikes. Kingston executed a beautiful flying body press and went for the pin.
